Joelene has worked in family law for over 15 years. Joelene is well versed in all areas of family law and is able to advise clients on all legal aspects arising out of matrimonial or de facto relationships. Joelene is passionate about assisting her clients to resolve their legal disputes out-of-court and achieve the best possible results. She understands separation and divorce can be one of the most challenging times in people’s lives and enjoys helping people resolve their issues, get through the tough times and move on with their lives.
Joelene has worked exclusively in family law and estate litigation since graduating with a Bachelor of Laws (Hons) and International Business from Griffith University in 2005. Joelene was admitted as a Solicitor to the Supreme Court of Queensland and High Court of Australia in the same year. Joelene first joined Jones Mitchell Family Lawyers in 2002. In addition to working and raising her young family, Joelene also volunteers at the Gold Coast Community Legal Centre. She works closely with our Support Staff team, especially Personal Assistant, Kiera Matthews.
