About
Belinda is an experienced family lawyer who works in all areas, whether parenting and/or property matters and has particular interest in difficult child support and financial matters. She focuses on achieving a best-case outcome for her clients and assists them achieve a smooth resolution of their family law matters in a timely and cost-effective manner.
Belinda has completed collaborative law training and strongly believes in the benefits of using alternate dispute resolution techniques to resolve her clients’ family law issues where her calm nature and in-control disposition are perfectly suited.
Belinda undertook a placement at Jones Mitchell Family Lawyers in 2011 as part of Bond University’s Family Law Legal Practice Clinic, completed her practical legal training in 2012 and commenced working at Jones Mitchell Family Lawyers in April 2013 after graduating with a Bachelor of Laws (Hons) from Bond University.
Belinda was admitted as a Solicitor to the Supreme Court of Queensland and High Court of Australia in 2013 and is a member of the Family Law Practitioners Association, Queensland Collaborative Law, the Family Law Section of the Law Council of Australia, and the Gold Coast Collaborative Law Practice Group.
Belinda works closely with Personal Assistant, Sherrie Smith.
