Having to sit down and talk with a Solicitor often means that an individual has some difficulty that needs sorting out. I was in this category – looking for a good Solicitor to assist me with the ending of a marriage. On recommendation from Ms. Liya Ting (a friend and lawyer) I approached Jones Mitchell and I was introduced to Ms. Day.’
I was immediately impressed with the professionalism of Mrs Day. She immediately asked pertinent questions and offered good, strong advice. She took a professional interest in my case that her predecessor had not – indeed they had almost seemed disinterested just doing what they had to do!
Through no fault of Ms Day’s that was almost 2 years ago. In the intervening time she has shown incredible professionalism, flexibility and a courtesy way and above what I would have expected. Her advice has been well thought out and based on experience and expertise. The level of support offered very high. Conversations friendly and yet firm – even in the most difficult of circumstances.
If you find yourself in a difficult position and need consummate professional who will support, advice, ensure she has a full understanding of your case and needs, even comfort you when you feel the whole world is again you, you will not do much better than Ms Day and Jones Mitchell. I would highly recommend this firm and their staff.
I am writing to your company to share my experience with your management team. Throughout the start of the year, I had to endure a life changing personal event, which required the services of Jones Mitchell Lawyers and in particularly, Ailsa Day.
After a very unfortunate relationship breakdown involving a young child, I had felt devastated, lost and simply had no idea where to start when it came to the custody of our young child, let alone all of the other hurdles you have to go through to settle everything after years with someone.
I was referred to JM Lawyers from a business colleague and right from the first meeting with Ailsa, I felt trust, warmth, professionalism and reliable information to head towards a good custody plan (amongst other details following the relationship breakdown).
Ailsa really took away my fear of the unknown and every time I had a question or needed advice, her approach was caring, understanding and she only ever aimed for the best result for us. Luckily with the way our matter was handled, we didn’t need to go through the court system (which was the desired outcome!!). I feel settled and content knowing that my best interests were at her heart, while she remained professional and very thorough!!
Thank you all and I feel Ailsa and her admin team are a true asset to JM Lawyers!
