Founding and senior partner of Jones Mitchell Lawyers, Warwick (Rick) specialises in working with clients with more complex family law cases. These include property and financial cases as well as some difficult children’s cases including relocation (both domestic and international) and Hague Convention (international child abduction) cases. Damira Hidic | Senior Associate

Katharine Atkins | Consultant

An Accredited Family Law Specialist since 1997 and an accomplished family law practitioner, Kathy now spends much of her time mentoring Jones Mitchell’s family lawyers and teaching at Bond University. A strong role model for the Jones Mitchell professional team, Kathy lives by Joseph Joubert’s words "to teach is to learn twice".

Joelene Seaton | Lawyer

Joelene is passionate about assisting her clients to resolve their legal disputes out-of-court and achieve the best possible results. Ailsa Day | Lawyer

A recipient of the Bond University Award for Academic Excellence, Ailsa practises exclusively in family law and achieves a holistic resolution for her clients. Ailsa has a particular interest in resolving family law cases with complex financial issues, especially those involving corporate entities.  She also particularly enjoys resolving cases involving the recovery of children.

Belinda Paterson | Lawyer

Belinda assists her clients to achieve a smooth resolution of their family law cases in a timely and cost-effective manner. Belinda strongly believes in the benefits of using alternate dispute resolution techniques to resolve her clients’ family law issues and has completed collaborative law training. An experienced family lawyer, Belinda is a member of the Family Law Practitioners Association, Queensland Collaborative Law, the Family Law Section of the Law Council of Australia, and the Gold Coast Collaborative Law Practice Group.

Olivia Jennar-Bryant | Lawyer

Olivia strongly believes there is no “one size fits all” approach to resolving family law matters. She is passionate about identifying the needs of each individual client and tailoring her approach accordingly. Olivia works closely with Warwick Jones across all aspects of family law including complex property settlements, parenting matters and divorce. She has a particular interest in cases involving the relocation of a child, both domestic and international.
