gold coast family lawyer

Dan J. Bottrell

Dan Bottrell – LL.B, BA

Partner of Jones Mitchell Lawyers, practising exclusively in the area of Family Law and De Facto Relationship Law.

Dan’s approach to the practice of family law is encapsulated by recognition that: “Today the real test of…power and wisdom is not our capacity to make war but our capacity to prevent it”. (Dale Turner) Given the highly emotive nature of Family Law rather than to be drawn in to a dispute Dan sees his role to assist his clients to distil the most important issues so that their matters can be resolved as amicably, expeditiously, and with as little cost as is possible.

Professional Legal Qualifications:
Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Queensland
Solicitor of the High Court of Australia

Current Appointments:

Member of the Law Council of Australia – Family Law Section
Member of the Gold Coast District Law Association
