Belinda assists her clients to achieve a smooth resolution of their family law cases in a timely and cost-effective manner. Belinda strongly believes in the benefits of using alternate dispute resolution techniques to resolve her clients’ family law issues and has completed collaborative law training. An experienced family lawyer, Belinda is a member of the Family Law Practitioners Association, Queensland Collaborative Law, the Family Law Section of the Law Council of Australia, and the Gold Coast Collaborative Law Practice Group.

About Belinda

After completing her high school education in Victoria, Belinda began her first year of university at Victoria University before relocating to the Gold Coast where she completed her law degree and graduate diploma at Bond University. While at Bond in 2010, Belinda participated in the family law legal practical clinic which is held at Jones Mitchell Lawyers each year. During this course Belinda worked alongside Jones Mitchell senior partner Rick Jones. Belinda completed her practical legal training at a boutique Gold Coast family law firm before commencing work at Jones Mitchell Lawyers in early 2013. During her study, she also gained invaluable experience with two Gold Coast family law firms working in the areas of family law and de facto relationship law.
